Several years ago there was a tv show called The Tribe, which, despite being referred to as a cult show overseas, was actually never that huge in New Zealand. Incidentally, these days she looks like this and is playing Dr Brooke Freeman on Shortland Street, the show that every New Zealand actor inevitably ends up on at some point in their career.

All through this movie Miranda kept reminding me of an older Kaylee. Which is hilarious to me, because the character I play with that uses Miranda as a PB? So not like Kaylee. I also find it hard to believe in many places that she was 37 at time of filming this.

Highlight of the film? Jared Padalecki getting mummified in a sand dune.

OH MY GOD THE LIGHTING. It nearly sent me into a murderous frothing-at-the-mouth rage.

I will probably, at some point, at least sort these into three distinct groups, but for now it's a big glomp of David Morrissey, Dervla Kirwan as Miss Hartigan and Velile Tshabalala (what a name!) as Rosita, the black girl.
